How to become a Tanzahost reseller and sell hosting under your own brand
Step-by-step Tanzahost reseller tutorial: apply, set up your brand and panel address, connect payments, and invite your first client.

What a reseller does
A reseller sells hosting to their own clients under their own name. Your clients log in to your panel, on your own address, with your logo and colours. They pay you, at the prices you set, and you pay for what they use at our normal prices.
If you run a small agency or you already maintain websites for other people, this is how you keep that work under your brand instead of ours. The client never sees our name.
This tutorial walks through the whole path: what you need, how to apply, what happens while you wait, and the four setup steps once you are approved. You can follow it in the same order the checklist gives you.
What you need before you apply
Three things, and you need all three:
A Tanzahost account with a saved card in Wallet. Your clients' use is charged to that card, so it must be there before you start.
A website for your business, so we can see who you are.
An account that isn't already a reseller's client. If your account was created through someone else's reseller panel, apply with a different account.
Check the card first. An application that is otherwise fine can still be held up if there is no saved card in Wallet.
Apply in four steps
Open Resell in your account's menu. You can also use Apply on our Resellers page.
Fill in your business's name, its website, its country, how many clients you expect, and where you host them today.
Read the reseller agreement and tick that you accept it.
Choose Send application.
Write the answers plainly. The person reading the form looks at your website and your account, so a real website with real details about your business helps more than a long description.
All the steps on this page live at /docs/account/become-a-reseller.
While you wait
Your application says Waiting while our team reads it, usually within a working day. You can withdraw it while it waits if you change your mind.
A person on our team reads every application. We look at your website and your account. We may say no, and when we do, the email says why. You can apply again 30 days later.
So if the answer is no, read the reason in the email, fix that point, and reapply after 30 days.
Once you're approved
You get an email, and Reseller appears in your menu. Its setup checklist walks you through the rest. There are four items, and they run in order.
1. Your brand
Set the name, the logo, the colours, and the email address your clients hear from. This is what your clients see every time they log in or get a message, so set it before you invite anyone.
Pick an address that matches your business name. For example, Juma runs a small web agency and chooses cloud.jumadigital.com.
2. Your panel's address
Add the DNS records we give you for that address. In Juma's case that is two DNS records for cloud.jumadigital.com.
Until it answers, your panel may run on a starter address we give you, if we offer one. That means you can keep working while the records spread.
3. Your clients' login
We set this up for you once your panel answers. After that, your clients can log in on your own address, with your logo and colours.
4. Payments
Choose how your clients pay you:
Connect your own Stripe account so your clients pay you by card.
Or send them invoices to pay you directly.
Your clients pay you at the prices you set. You pay for what they use at our normal prices, charged to the saved card in Wallet.
A short example
Juma runs a small web agency with 40 clients. He applies on Monday with his agency's website.
On Tuesday morning he is approved. He uploads his logo, adds two DNS records for cloud.jumadigital.com, and invites his first client that afternoon. The client never sees our name.
Notice the order: brand first, address second, client third. Juma does not invite anyone until his own address answers, so his first client only ever sees cloud.jumadigital.com.
Quick checklist
| Step | What you do | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Before you apply | Save a card in Wallet, have a business website | — |
| Apply | Open Resell, fill the form, accept the agreement, Send application | A person reads it, usually within a working day |
| Approved | Watch for the email, open Reseller in your menu | Reseller appears in your menu |
| Brand | Set name, logo, colours, client email address | — |
| Address | Add the DNS records for your panel's address | Your panel runs on a starter address until it answers |
| Client login | Wait for your panel to answer | We set up your clients' login for you |
| Payments | Connect your own Stripe account, or send invoices | Your clients' use is charged to your saved card |
Common mistakes to avoid
Applying without a saved card. Clients' use is charged to the card in Wallet, so add it first.
Applying from an account that is already a reseller's client. Use an account that isn't one.
Inviting clients before your panel's address answers. Until then your panel may run on a starter address we give you, if we offer one, and your clients would see that instead of your own address.
Skipping the brand step. Your logo, colours and client email address are the first thing a client sees.
Forgetting payments. Connect your own Stripe account or start sending invoices, so your clients pay you at the prices you set.
Start today
Open Resell in your account's menu, fill in your business's details, accept the reseller agreement, and choose Send application. You will hear back, usually within a working day, and the Reseller checklist takes you from there.
