Import, export and browse your databases

Upload a .sql file of up to 2 GB or import from a link, export a copy any time, and browse tables and run queries in the dashboard.

Moving a database here no longer needs a command line.

What's new

  • Import a file: drop a .sql or .sql.gz of up to 2 GB on the database's page. It uploads in pieces, so a dropped connection carries on where it stopped, and you watch each table being made.

  • Import from a link: paste your old host's backup link, and we fetch it for you.

  • We check the file first: a PostgreSQL dump going into MySQL is caught before anything happens. Lines a dump often carries that a database user can't run are taken out, so most dumps from cPanel import as they are.

  • Export: a gzipped copy, kept 24 hours for you to download.

  • Tables: see each table's rows and size, change rows, and run a query, on the database's own page.

  • Its numbers: memory against its limit, storage, connections, and slow queries over the last day. We tell you when a database is close to its memory limit, with a button to raise it.

  • Updates you can undo: when a database has an update, choose Update now or Plan for a quiet hour. A copy of the data is kept first, and Roll back works for 7 days.
