Terms for paid AI work

Draft

In short: How Sali Pro's paid work is priced and charged, what it does and doesn't promise, and why you approve every change.

Being reviewed by our lawyer

This is our draft, written from what Tanzahost really does. It isn't in force yet: it takes effect once our lawyer has approved it, and we'll show the date here.

What it is

Sali answers support questions for free. Sali Pro does paid work on your code: finding the cause of a bug by reading your app's code and logs, and, when you ask, writing changes. These terms add to the terms of service.

Price

Paid work is priced per million tokens, the small pieces of text an AI reads and writes: one price for what it reads and one for what it writes, shown on our pricing page in your wallet's currency.

Before a task starts, you see an estimate and a spending limit. The cost of each answer is shown live and taken from your wallet when the answer finishes. Work stops when it reaches the task's limit, your monthly spending cap or the end of your balance.

You approve every change

Sali Pro never changes your code, settings, data or live app by itself. It shows what it would change, and nothing happens until you approve it. You can always see what was changed and roll back to the version before.

What it promises, and what it doesn't

It does its best to find the cause and propose a working fix, and explains what it found in plain words.

It's an AI: it can be wrong, miss a cause or propose a change that breaks something. You are paying for the work, not for a guaranteed result, so tokens used are charged even when the answer doesn't solve the problem. Check its changes, ideally on a test version first, before you approve them.

If an answer was clearly cut off or failed because of a fault on our side, write to us: we give those tokens back as wallet credit.

Your code and secrets

Sali Pro reads only the project you ask it to work on, and only what you could see yourself. Passwords, keys and variables' values are removed before anything is sent to the AI provider, and are never sent. Your code stays yours, and isn't used to train models. The privacy policy has the details.
